10. Vedauwoo Located near Laramie Wyoming, Vedauwoo is a rock climber’s dream. Beautiful mountains of granite cover the landscape. Combined with the wildlife (mule deer, elk, marmots, pronghorn, coyotes, and mountain lions), the hoodoos (tall, thin spires of rock that protrude from the bottom of an arid drainage basin or badland) give this place a magical quality.
